very nice food. Love the variety. The fish curry and dosakai are must try. I also love their chai.
This is one of my favorite Indian Restaurants in the South Bay! The service is great, servers are courteous, and the food is consistently delicious! My go to dishes are the Malai Kofta and Palak Paneer with Garlic Naan, and their Samosa is good too. My food is usually ready on time or early when I get take out, or it's always a chill vibe listening to Bollywood songs (with music videos playing) if I dine in. The weekends also have a buffet with a large variety of food options!
Cannot believe I never left a review for this place. If you are going for lunch it will be full of Indians which is great! The food selection is vast and will meet all desired appetites. I especially look out for curry goat which Indian cuisine does very well. Tandoori chicken, Biriyani, Korma, veggie dishes etc...It is a large spread and it is no wonder it is always crowded. Better come at open. Food is the right temp for a buffet too. Not cold. Serious this is one damn good buffet. We used to come for lunch more often but it just got way too busy. Service is service for a buffet. Nan is served fresh once you get a plate which I appreciate, versus Nan served at the line. Ambiance is nice and open...Crowded though that is why I say come at open. One of the best Indian Buffets in the Bay Area if not the best. With a lot of their ethnic people coming I guess they know how to do it!
We decided to go here after seeing these great reviews. We really enjoyed the food but I couldn't eat it all! Here's what happened: We were in the car for almost 8 hrs. We rushed to the restroom and my partner ordered for us. He ordered fish but he doesn't really eat fish. He leaves that for myself & my younger child. He only eats one piece. We aren't big spice eaters like my husband. The fish was delicious but I never had spicy fish before. It was hard for me to eat & gulp water at the same time. I couldn't eat the lamb biryani and the chicken Tikka even though my partner said it was delicious. I didn't even eat the okra we ordered. My younger one enjoyed spritzing lime on the garlic naan. I need to try that next time. I should have waited for everything to arrive first before I ate the fish. The pakoras & samosas were delicious and was finished. Even got the mango lassi to quench our thirst.
Great food, but a chipped plate could be a concern for some. Service was solid. My friend and I went basic with a Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. They knocked it out of the park on both, easily 9/10 for me across the board. Unfortunately, one of the plates was chipped to a sharp edge (pic attached) but the server didn't care when it was pointed out. I don't mind, but it could be a hazard for some diners! Would recommend overall, but docking a star for safety.

Hats off to the wonderful staff at the restaurant. We forgot our phone and they were kind enough to hold it for us and let us in early next morning to retrieve our phone. Food was good. My husband loved the chicken tikka masala...
Best Buffet probably you can find in Sunnyvale, CA. I am from Southern CA where we kind of dried out on great Indian buffets. We were on a trip to northern California and my relatives recommended me this place as best place for Indian buffet, we decided to try it. The place looks small from outside but inside they have huge seating area and extended seating are I am guessing this only for weekend. The lines were huge, please don't remember to fill at least 2 plates :-) otherwise you will end up standing in the queue for most of the time. Buffet starts with lots of Vegetarian Items followed by a section for non-vegetarian which also has huge selection of varieties. Surprised to see so many different vegetarian items, the Vegetarian food along with Samosa chat was amazing. When it comes to non-veg The Tandoori chicken and mutton pulav was simply amazing along with others.
